These security Latch Protectors also known as latch guards or latch plates prevent latch or bolt lock manipulation for outswing doors. Designed to protect doors from forced entry, this out-swinging latch guard plate can be used with doors having a 2-3/8″ standard residential backset. They feature a convenient cut out and offset to accommodate lockset and an offset door jamb. They are totally reversible for right or left openings. Fasteners are included for simple installation.
