These are double plate, triple zinc anchors designed for double top plate applications. They are used to tie trusses and rafters to top plates and may be used to tie wood framing members to resist uplift and lateral forces. Manufactured of 18 gauge steel, the Hurricane Anchors measure 1-1/2 inch in width by 6-1/2 inch in height.
